SA: Three cars fires in Adelaide last night

ADELAIDE, Aug 12 AAP - Police are investigating three car fires overnight in the north
of Adelaide.

At 9.45pm (CST) an early model Holden sedan was gutted at North Terrace, Wingfield,
causing about $1,000 damage.

An hour later, a Commodore was set alight at Maltara Street, Gillman.

It had been stolen from an Allenby Gardens house earlier in the night.

The fire caused about $6,000 damage.

MFS attended both fires and police believe both were deliberately lit.

Also last night, a car caught fire in Elizabeth Vale in Adelaide's north.

The 11.30pm (CST) fire extensively damaged one car with minor damage to a second.

Police believe the fire was accidental as at the time petrol was being siphoned from
one car to the other.
