SA: Man dies in truck roll over near Waikerie
ADELAIDE, April 1 AAP - A 44-year-old man died in a truck accident near Waikerie, about
200km northeast of Adelaide, this morning.
Police said the man was a passenger in the truck which rolled on the Waikerie to Cadell
road about 6am (CST).
A police spokesman said the man died at the scene, while the 49-year-old male driver
was taken to Waikerie Hospital with serious injuries.
The driver will be transferred to the Royal Adelaide Hospital later today.
Police have not released where the men are from as their relatives are yet to be contacted,
however they are believed to be from South Australia.
The state's road toll now stands 37 at compared to 33 at the same time last year.
